Different Strokes, Too Late!
This is a small piece I did last week. It was done from a photograph provided on the blog Different Strokes From Different Folks, where artists are encouraged to paint or draw their own interpretations. Waited too long and missed the deadline but it's still a nice piece. I'll try to get the next one in in more timely fashion.

Wow. You did a great job with this. I love the way you simplified the color scheme, and the created a dream-like quality, especially in the distance. I see you took the next challenge, and did a great job on that one, too.
this is beautiful. when I scrolled down and saw it I thought - this wasn't posted on DSFDF... I would have remembered it! then I read your post. LOL. great job on the portrait challenge too. I see you were EARLY this time! :)
