Jess's Shoes

I loved doing this painting. My niece has more shoes than anyone I know. So of course, she was the one I went to for loaner shoes to paint.

Artstuff from the last week or so

This pastel sketch is from figure drawing tonight. You can see the clips on the sides of the board. We had a new model and really liked her.

This is from a photo I took in Apalachicola a few years ago.

This painting was done from a photograph provided on the blog "Different Strokes From Different Folks", where artists are encouraged to paint or draw their own interpretations. It's a great idea. You can do it too. Click on the title of this entry above

Patty and Larry Tebeau at Plein Air Auction in Augusta

I always enjoy the Augusta Plein Air Event but this year was the best. Thanks to all the patrons, like Larry and Patty, who support us morally and otherwise, and to all the volunteers who fed us and made us feel so welcome. Augusta is a wonderful and beautiful community in so many ways. I was only able to get out there 4 days, hopefully next year I'll be able to do more.
Thanks again!
